I absolutely loved the charming atmosphere of this motel. The decor had a cozy, vintage feel that reminded me of my own home. The common areas were well-maintained and had comfortable seating, making it easy for me to relax and socialize with other guests. As a senior, I appreciated that the motel had easy accessibility with no stairs to climb and wide hallways for easy maneuvering.

I would have appreciated having more activities or amenities specifically tailored for senior guests.

We got great value for our money at this motel. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a separate bedroom and living area. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. The location was convenient, although a bit outside of town.

The morning meal could have been better with a wider selection.

The hotel is family with family atmosphere, the location is ideal right by the bus station. The room is well heated and reasonably large with three wifi access, everything is excellent. The staff are amazing friendly and very helpful, and the owner too👍🙂

Well, Wi-Fi was a bit slow.

The apartment I had was newly renovated. The location was ideal, right by the bus station, convenient to go everywhere. Moreover, it's close to grocery stores as well as trucks.

Great location near shops, bus station and clean facilities. Friendly staff and delicious breakfast served.

Price, location, parking

No power plugs in bathroom for hair dryer , very small bedroom and bed, shower water pressure poor, coffee average, no tv in bedroom. Heat pump noisy and inefficient

Great location, within walking distance to main attractions. The cleaning was efficient, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The WiFi signal was strong and reliable.

The room was tired and dated, in need of renovation. The walls were thin, and we could hear every noise from the neighboring rooms.

good value, good service - what I would expect from a motel in the price range. Definately stay there again either for work or private.

The motel was conveniently located close to many restaurants and attractions, making it easy to get around. The overall size of the room was decent enough, with plenty of space to move around in. One of the few redeeming things about this motel was its clean bathroom.

The noise from the nearby road made it almost impossible to get a good night's sleep.

The motel was very good, the beds nice and comfortable. Being back from the road noise was not an issue. Happy to stay again

Not a thing.

As a satisfied hotel guest, I recently stayed at a lovely motel in Oamaru called Colonial Lodge. Our two-bedroom unit was perfect, with excellent beds and a clean and cozy atmosphere. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bathroom had a nice pressure shower. I especially loved having a dining table for our group of six. The breakfast, delivered the night before, was perfect. The location was great, and the staff were standout, friendly, and family-oriented. Highly recommended!

I do recommend this hotel.
